After more than 13 years working with fresh produce, David and Danny saw first-hand how quickly good fruit and veg can go to waste. Fruit Hero was created to bring smarter produce storage into everyday homes.

We're David and Danny, brothers and founders of Fruit Hero.
We grew up in and around the family business, Alexander's Fruit Market, where we've spent over 13 years working with fresh produce and the people who sell it.
We saw the same thing, day in and day out. Shoppers bought beautiful produce, but too much of it spoiled at home.
We knew there had to be a better way.
The idea came from how
fresh produce is already protected.
In commercial supply chains, natural zeolite is used to help protect produce from ethylene gas and excess moisture.
We saw the opportunity to bring the same technology into the home, in a simple, passive and effective way.
That's how Fruit Hero was born.
